BISCAST, Naga City – More than 400 ASTEANs were recognized during the BISCAST Recognition Day, Monday, April 1 at the Student Pavilion.
Organized by the Student Development Services (SDS) headed by Director Engr. Antonio Ricardo T. Ayen, academic awardees and non-academic awardees from College of Education (COE), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College (CAS), College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) and College of Trades and technology (CTT) were recognized during the event.
Further, Leadership Award, Community Service Award, Special Award, Loyalty Award and Outstanding Campus Organization were also given as non-academic awards.
Members of chorale, majorettes, performing arts, and BISCAST band were also recognized.
Furthermore, students who excel in sports and athletics, publication, and researches were also named during the event.
According to College President, Dr. Richard H. Cordial, he is proud that the awardees did their best and pushed their selves to the limit.
He also thanked the parents for trusting the institution in becoming the students’ second home.
“You’ve been in good hands scholars. BISCAST may not have been able to give you facilities at par with that of top universities UP, DLSU , etc., but I assure you, you had the best dedicated teachers, instructors and school officials in Naga, or probably in the Region”, Cordial said. The President added that he hopes nothing but the best for the ASTEANs.
